Thunder 500 Remote Launcher
The previous Etch-Marc
company have been bought by Wilson Retriever, Inc. Even before they
bought Etch-marc, they worked with the company.
The newly redesigned Thunder
500 will soon be unveiled. We have previously owned an older
version of the Max 5000 and know the many problems that people went
through with them.
I have talked to Doug and I
am very excited to be able to carry his new product line once it becomes
available. He has been working hard for the last couple of years to make
the launcher more durable & RELIABLE!
The remote launcher will be
able to work with Tri Tronics or Dogtra remote release systems

REMOTE LAUNCH ADJUSTMENT: First and only patent pending process
that allows for variable distance from the running line using your
Tri-Tronics or Dogtra transmitter. No need to walk out in the field or
change charges to adjust launch distance. One extra push of the
transmitter button is all it takes!
VARIABLE DISTANCE AND ARC AT YOUR FINGERTIPS: With the turn of a
button you get long arcing throws to short throws. No need to change
primers or reload. Adjust throw angle and trajectory using new tripod
legs for infinite possibilities.
ONE SHOT EVERY TIME: One push of the button means one launch! No
need to prime your system and NO OXYGEN is required! Estimated system
will shoot 600 - 800 shots before needing fuel replacement.
DURABLE ALL ALUMINUM CONSTRUCTION: No plastic to crack, no steel
to rust.
COMPACT AND FULLY SELF-CONTAINED: Get out your tape measure and
decide for yourself. The unit is only 9” x 9” x 18” and weighs less than
20 pounds. Sized to fit in small places including extra holes in your
dog truck. Will transport and store neatly without the need for
additional carry bags, leg or rotator removal.
INEXPENSIVE OPERATION: For less than 1 cent per shot you get a
sound which closely imitates a shotgun blast and is SIGNIFICANTLY
louder than blank charges. Approximately 600 – 800 shots before
reloading. Runs on common inexpensive disposable LP gas found at any
local hardware store and yields about 800 shots per tank - No .22 Blanks
or primers to buy and No Firing Pins to Set
REDUNDANT SAFETY: The system has a lighted arming switch which
disables the unit and incorporates variable distance with gas shutoff.
MINIMAL SETUP AND TRANSPORT: Sets up in less than one minute and
reloads in 5 seconds. Throw the strap over your shoulder and transport.
MINIMAL MAINTENANCE: Wipe with a damp cloth and store. That’s it!

Beginning in 2008 there will be multiple options available for bumper
configurations.* If you ever wanted different or customized colors they
will be available within the next few months.

1. White bumper with White core
2. Black bumper with Black Core
3. White bumper with choice of various core colors - Personalize your
bumpers with your own favorite colors, identify your kennel colors, and
differentiate your bumpers from others. Pictures and color line cards
are coming soon
4. Black bumpers can be ordered with various core colors - Price
difference and longer delivery times
* New units will be shipped with white / black bumpers. Additional
bumpers and colors will be sold separately.
