The EXP modals are a simple & cost effective way to expand the
capability of Tri Tronics Field and Pro Series Training Collars. All of
the Field & pro series products have the capability of being expanded to control
up 3 to 6 dogs by simply buying additional receivers.
ALSO, with the G2 EXP models you can elect not to purchase the
extra receiver charging cradle and power supply when you buy an additional
collar receiver. Since the receiver can be fully charged within 2 hours,
these extra items may not be needed in multi-dog products.

NEED ADD-ON G2 EXP COLLAR RECEIVER
Choosing the right collar depends on many factors.
Each Collar is different but below is the main points to
consider when purchasing a collar
When you hold a
button down it will either give your dog a continuous stimulation or momentary
stimulation. Choosing which type of stimulation you want to use for the
dominant control is really up to you.
Continuous stimulation: When you hold the button
down for 10 seconds your dog will get stimulation about 9 seconds.
Momentary stimulation: When you hold the button
down for 10 seconds your dog will get stimulation for 1 second. If you want to
give your dog more than 1 second of stimulation, you will need to press the
button, then release, press the button, than release, and so on.
Some trainers or owners use the
audible tone as a praise tone or a warning tone. This again depends on what
training style you use or your trainer uses. Some trainers don't even use the
tone.
Contact Points: There are 2 different types of
contact points offered. Short and long. The collars with the fixed length,
non-removable points use the short points. The breed of dog and fur length
should dictate which points to use.
Short points: Ideal for thinner coated dogs:
Pointers, some Brittany, some Labradors, and so on
Long Points: Ideal for thicker coated dogs: Golden
Retrievers, Most Labrador Retrievers, Setters, Brittany, and so on.
